Equipment Repairs
Do you have a camera that is giving you a hard time? Is your lens or flash not working properly? All you need to do to get started is to bring your camera equipment in to us for a repair quote.
Unfortunately we don't repair cameras, lenses, or flashes in our store as all repairs are sent to the manufacture as long as that product is still serviceable. Generally repairs can take upwards of 6 to 8 weeks, although most are completed much faster. Repairs come with a 3-6 month warranty depending on what particular item is being repaired.
Please note that most repairs typically begin at 130$/hour. The total working time required for each individual repair varies but is disclosed in advance. Only following your informed authorization will the repair work begin.
Bring your misbehaving camera, lens, or flash in to our shop and let us get it repaired for you through the manufacture.
Equipment Cleanings or Lens Calibration
Is your camera or lens looking a little worse for wear? Is it dusty, dirty, or grimey? We offer expert in-house cleaning to tidy up the external parts of your camera, lenses, or flash units. Our turn around time for external cleanings is approximately 2 business days.
What’s the cost? We charge $40 for each item needing cleaned.
Does the focus of your images just seem a little off? Is your lens front or rear focusing? Let our expert technician calibrate your lens or lenses. Please be certain to bring your camera in with a
fully charged battery. Calibration services typically take 1 or 2 business days.
Note: This service is only available for DSLR bodies with a lens calibration feature (mirrorless cameras cannot have lenses calibrated and Canon Rebel DSLRs as well).
What’s the cost? We charge $40 per lens. Do you have a second camera which also needs its lenses calibrated?
What’s the cost? We charge just $40 per lens - when done at the same time as the first camera.
Sensor Cleanings
Are you seeing little spots in your images? Have you taken incredible pictures, yet as you look at it on your computer, or your prints, they’re speckled with dust spots? First, check your lens to see if there is any dust or dirt on the front glass. No dirt, dust, or crud on your lens glass? Most likely your lens is fine, and some dirt, dust, or another foreign object has found its way to your sensor. We offer next-business-day sensor cleanings for $140, and two-business day sensor cleanings for $70. All you have to do is bring your camera with a fully charged battery, and let us clean your sensor so it’s as good as new.
